The deeper I fall into this wonderfully colorful creative rabbit hole of mine the more I see the amazing consistent RELEVANCE my pieces have. Whether they are baked goods or painted beauties they are withstanding the test of time. Me being honest= when I finished this painting I was SO HARD on her. I walked up to her hands-on hip and gave a little side-eye "You are a basic sketch you aren't a beautiful piece people will love as their own" The thing is....sometimes TIME TELLS ALL....and this one is now my fourth holiday in which I have taken her out and displayed her for the occasion feeling her brilliant colors surround me with images that make the Jewish Holiday Year feel circular. You see, I have discovered that when I am true to myself, basically going all in and doing a total upheaval of innards each time I release something.....it STANDS THE TEST OF TIME. It ends up being one-of-a-kind something no one else is doing and yet....so totally RELEVANT.
